About the Artist
Ruiting is a versatile experimental artist who enjoys urban sketching and painting her surroundings. Her passions for travel, nature, and cuisine frequently inspire her work. It's common to find her with a watercolor sketchbook in hand during her journeys, capturing fleeting moments of peace and culinary delights. Her sketchbook serves as a nostalgic pathway, preserving these cherished memories. Similarly, her more delicate paintings reflect her experiences, with each brushstroke evoking the beauty of the places and things she discovers/imagine.
Originally from Singapore, she now pours her creative energy into her artistic endeavors in Munich, Germany where she also works as a 3D artist for films & television series.
While her primary medium is watercolors, she also enjoys venturing into various other mediums, including gouache, acrylics, oil, pastels, and even digital painting. She enjoys how these experimentation of different mediums pushes her beyond her comfort zone, providing invaluable experiences and lessons that enhance her overall artistic practice.
